Original rules text If the cumulative number of N.Y.C. Groceries stores that have opened for regular retail sales to the general public is at least 1 before Jan 1, 2029, then the market resolves to Yes.
A store counts once it begins regular in-person grocery sales to the general public; announcements, site selection, construction completion, ribbon-cuttings, or limited preview/test openings do not count. Stores opened under a renamed or materially equivalent successor to N.Y.C. Groceries also count, including where day-to-day operations are performed by a third party.
