The catch

  • All four conditions must occur; if any single component fails or becomes impossible, the entire market immediately resolves No.
If ANY single component resolves to No or becomes impossible, the entire contract immediately resolves to No. · market rules

Pays out only if

  • Trump's approval exceeds 48%, Republicans control both chambers after midterms, GDP growth exceeds 5% in any quarter Q4 2025-Q4 2026, and unemployment stays below 5% in 2026.
If **ALL** of the following occur: 1. Trump's VoteHub approval rating rises above 48% in 2026 AND 2. Republicans retain control of both the House of Representatives and Senate after the midterms AND 3. U.S. GDP growth is above 5% in any quarter between Q4 2025 and Q4 2026 (inclusive) AND 4. The U.S. unemployment rate (U-3) stays below 5% in 2026 then the market resolves to Yes. · market rules
  • Has to happen during 2026 and through Feb 1, 2027 for control determination

The rules, in plain English

This market resolves Yes only if all four of these happen: 1. Trump's VoteHub approval rating goes above 48% at least once in 2026 2. Republicans control both the House and Senate after the midterms (determined by who is Speaker and President Pro Tempore on February 1, 2027) 3. U.S. GDP growth is above 5% in at least one quarter from Q4 2025 through Q4 2026 (using real GDP, quarter-over-quarter percent change, seasonally adjusted at annual rates) 4. The U.S. unemployment rate (U-3) stays below 5% in 2026 This is a combination market. If any single condition fails or becomes impossible, the entire market immediately resolves No. Each component follows its own Kalshi ruleset: POLLINGAPPROVALINPERIOD for approval rating, CONTROL for congressional control, LGDP for GDP growth, and ECONSTAT for unemployment. For economic data, resolution uses the first officially released value, not preliminary or revised estimates unless specified. The approval threshold only needs to be met once during the period.
