This market pays Yes if the 30-year Treasury yield reaches or goes above 5.39% on any date from September 3, 2026 through September 30, 2026. Otherwise it pays No. The market settles as soon as the yield hits 5.39% or higher, or once data is available for September 30, 2026. If no qualifying value is published and data for September 30, 2026 is not available by October 14, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET, the market pays No. The source is the Department of the Treasury's Daily Treasury Par Yield Curve Rates, specifically the 30 Yr column.
